Tuck Everlasting
I really liked the book Tuck Everlasting, I enjoyed reading it. I took my time while read the book, and I focused on the wonderful figurative language. Since I took my time and focused on the book, I had memorized a lot of the book and that helped me answer all of the questions. I think I did very well on the questions and put my best effort into it. I did alright on the blog, but I think that I could have wrote more and put more time into it. The blog was the hardest thing for me to do, and I think that I could have put more effort into it though. I really liked to talk about the book in the class discussions, it was a lot of fun! I also think I did a great job on the character project! I think that the figurative language project I did a very good on. I think that the whole Tuck Everlasting project went great!
Rainbow people
I really liked the Rainbow people,I really liked all of the little stories because they taught a good lesson. Both my summaries and introductions show my best work.It was a lot of fun commenting and facilitating on the blog, i liked commenting back and forth with people.I think I had a lot of good idea's and showed that while commenting and facilitating on the blog. Leading and participating in the small group disscutions went really well for me. Twiducate was not working that well for me. It was hard to tell all of my idea's with typing and i always had to refresh. Overall in the Rainbow people section i think i improved a lot.
The year of the boar and jackie robinson evaluation
I think i did a good job with the quizzes on the year of the boar and jackie robinson. I ansered a lot of the questions right but not all of them. Some of the questions i ansered incomplete, did not explain what happened next, or did not say why something hapened. The class discussions i did alright on i could have talked more and given more ideas. I did better with typing on twiducate that the class discussions. I think i did a great job with reflecting back to the book. I also put all of my effort into my project on shirley's identity and i did great!!!!! I think i have improved from the beggining of the year with reading and reflecting.
Choices, are things that can be hard, happy, or sad and can change your life forever.The book Maniac Magee written by Jerry Spinelli is about a boy named Maniac Magee who's parents died when he was very little and he is now living with his aunt and uncle. Maniac made a choice to run away from home because his aunt and uncle never shared, never talked, and never got along. That was a very big choice that has changed his life forever it could be a good decision but it could be a bad decision. I have had choices in my life like choosing to tell the truth or to lie and many other things. At the starting of the book i would think Maniac would only think of choices as not a big deal, he doesn't need to care about it, and if i make a bad choice so what.
For the second example of choices Maniac had to make, is choosing to leave the mcnabs or staying. The two little Mcnabs named Russel and Piper always run away and never go to school. With maniac theere they go to school and do not run away.But Maniac starts to live at there house and the mcnabs annoying ways start to get on his nerves.because in one way Maniac wants to stay and help the mcnabs stop their bad habits and keep russel and piper from running away and keeping them in school. But their nasty,bad habits, are so disgusting to Maniac. Also Russel and Piper are really annoying to him.Thats why he has to make a huge choice to stay or leave the mcnabs he does end up leaving them. I think Maniac made a good decision leaving the mcnabs. I also think the mcnab family has one 1st place on worse house and family. No support, no nothing. I think what Jerry Spinelli wants us to know is sometimes you make some good and not so good choices. The mcnab family has made bad choices on choosing to raise russel and piper so inresponcibly and on taking care of the house.
At the starting of the book Maniac first just thought choices were no big deal and he did not care about them. But now i think he thinks more carefully and has a better idea of making choices. At the starting or the book with the beales he might not have made the best choice. But later on in the book when he thinks more carefully with the mcnab situation and whether or not to stay with the mcnabs he makes a good decision with leaving the mcnabs. I think throughout the book Maniac had made some good and bad choices and has a pretty good idea of good choices at the end of the book and has learned from his mistakes.
This i believe
I think that listening to all of the speeches about what people belived in was lot better than reading a book. I thought it was nice to take a break from reading a long chapter book to reading around a five paraghraph speech. I also liked to listen to people talk about their beleifs, how they make them feel, and why they belive in that so much.

My best assignment is my final essay. I think i did a really good job on it because i wrote everything down that was related to the book Maniac Magee. I also think to make the essay even better i could have added more details. My worst assignment is the Maniac Magee quizzes. Why they were my worst is i did not take my time and could have payed more attention. So next time i will pay more attention and take my time. The next time i begin a book and and an assignment to improve my best work i will write everything i know about the subject down. I will also to make it better i will put more details in and take my time. To make my habits the best i will write everything i know about the subject. So to improve my best self i will really try to take my time on things.
The secound survival book i have read is Hatchet.
I think my best work is the essay for a chapter of the secound book of Hatchet. I really put a lot of effort into it and took my time and put details into it. I could have wrriten more on it though. I do not think i did good on the survival book asinment 1#. To make it better i could have put more detail and effort into it. Next time i will put more effort into my work. Also to improve my habits i willl focous on putting my best work into everything.
The first book we read in 5th grade was Island of the blue dolphins.
I think my glog on karana's character traits really shows my best work. In my glog i think i should focas on writing down more character traits.I would say i did not do the best job on my island of the blue dolphins homework summarys.why? i think it was not my best work is because i did not write everything down. I also needed to put more details in the summarys. I think to make my work better,on our next book assinment i need to focas on doing my best work. And writing everything i know about the subject. To be really good at writing i will put more details into everything i write. And write many words on the subject. I think if i do all this i have talked about i will be a good writer.
